Canine Cupboard was established
in October 2001 for the purpose of sharing our wholesome,
all natural treats with the local canine community. After
learning what mass-produced dog treats contained for ingredients,
we decided to experiment in our own kitchen with some simple
dog bone recipes. These recipes contain all natural, low
fat ingredients safe for dogs. No sugar, salt, preservatives,
artificial flavors or coloring are used in any of the recipes.
As we experimented with different recipes for dog bones
we asked why we couldn’t take items that humans love to
eat like muffins, scones, granola bars, cookies and adapt
them for animals. Using ingredients like all natural peanut
butter, pure clover honey, all natural stone ground whole
wheat, unbleached white flour, barley flour, white rice
flour and unsweetened applesauce we created the basis for
a variety of treats that are not only healthy but fun for
dogs to eat.
Our Philosophy
Canine Cupboard’s mission is to offer a healthy, all natural
alternative to mass-produced dog treats that is tasty and
fun to eat. Baked daily in small batches, items are always
fresh. |
