The dog days of summer are here! Summer is a great time to be out and about with your canine companion, but remember it gets pretty hot outside, so be careful when traveling with your dog.

Stop by the Cupboard and grab a cool & refreshing “ice cream” for your dog. Our hand-made, all natural treat comes in two flavors, peanut butter and blueberry. They’ll cool your pup down on a hot summer day.

Need a portable water dish? We have them. Easy and convenient, attaches to your leash so you will have easy access when your pup gets thirsty.

We’ve added a new line of leashes & collars from a local Portsmouth based company. Great colors, patterns & designs to chose from. Come on by and check these out along with our assortment of tropical Douglas Paquette & nautical Preston leashes & collars. They are fun, colorful and hip for every dog!

Don’t forget, dogs are not allowed in Prescott Park, but Peirce Island, just around the corner from Prescott Park is dog friendly and there is water access for your dog, along with the Portsmouth Dog Park located off Junkins Ave, across from South Mill Pond. Please remember, Portsmouth is dog friendly, but there is a leash law and for the safety of your dog keep them leashed and with you at all times. We want to make sure you have a great experience when visiting Portsmouth with your buddy!

Now available at the Cupboard are Eco-friendly pet products made with recycled materials.  These Eco-friendly items were hot sellers during the holiday season and there are plenty of items in stock to choose from. Stop by & check out the assortment of beds, crate mats, toys and other items that are pet friendly & safe for the environment!

If you are traveling with your dog, we carry soft-sided crates, which are portable, lightweight and collapsible complete with a convenient shoulder strap. Easy set up, water resistant and completely washable, with a reflective sunshade for improved protection when used outdoors.
