There is always something new in our bakery. Made fresh daily in small batches, Canine Cupboard treats are made with the finest all-natural ingredients and are made to mimic yummy treats you’d find in a human bakery. Our selection changes everyday, but you are sure to always find on hand our most popular items such as wheat free selections like peanut butter oats drops and granola bars. Peanut butter banana bones, muddy paws, honey bones and muffins are sure to please even the finicky pups in your house. Located in the heart of historic Portsmouth, NH the Cupboard is located in one of the oldest wooden structures in the city. Conveniently located near Prescott Park and Strawbery Banke Museum, there are plenty of nooks and crannies along the city streets to explore with your dog.

Our goal at the Cupboard is to find items that are unique, durable, fun and different. Inventory in the store is always changing, giving our canine friends a variety of new items to choose from. Whether it is a heavy-duty tug toy, interactive food cube or a flying disc, we carry all sorts of items that are sure to keep your buddy busy.

Outdoor fun requires outdoor gear. Reflective safety vests & collars along with pet strobes that attach to the collar are must have items for the dog that accompanies you on an early morning jog or a late night walk to the park. Waterproof travel beds and backpacks come in handy for the dog that heads to the trails and hikes & camps with you. Portable water & food bowls, totes with waste disposal bags and bait bags make traveling with your pet easy and convenient.

Feeding your dog premium foods is just a healthy choice. At the Cupboard we carry a variety of all-natural foods from companies who believe in using only the highest quality of ingredients, follow strict processing methods and guarantee their products.

From Natura Pet Foods we carry all flavors of Innova, Innova EVO and California Natural. All varieties of Solid Gold and from the Old Mother Hubbard Company, Wellness, Simple Solutions and their new formula Core, a grain free, protein focused food. Exit 7 Market St., Downtown Portsmouth Right at ramp. Through one set of lights, stay left at yellow blinking light into downtown. After first stop sign, bear left onto Bow St. Follow Bow St. (Bow St. bears to the right at top of hill at Church) to a stop sign proceed straight at next stop sign is State St. Canine Cupboard is directly in front of you. Black one story cape style building with red door. State Street is ONE way, so you must turn LEFT. Plenty of on -street parking and a public lot on your left. Parking meters are strictly enforced. Don’t feed the meters on Sunday, they are free!
